The luminaire is specifically designed for cove applications and toolless installation. XOOCOVE is available with two different light engines, with a focus either on high efficiency or high CRI. The fixture can be freely rotated to any orientation, making it easy to adapt to the dimensions of the cove and the desired effect.
The silicone pads allow toolless installation and angle adjustability of the luminaires. The cables are tidied away in the silicone pad's holding grooves for clean cable management. There are also clips available for vertical surfaces.
A bus cable is placed in the cove that allows up to 11 m of fixtures to be powered by a single feed. Piercing connectors are set wherever required to supply individual luminaires.
Available with diffuse cover or 60° linear lens. Translucent end caps ensure cove homogeneity by prohibiting light gaps and dark spots.

Strict binning of the light engines guarantees perfect and consistent appearance of the indirect light along walls and ceilings. Cove lighting is one of the most challenging applications in linear lighting and unforgiving regards bad binning and colour inconsistencies, both directly after installation and even more so after prolongued use.
Even small cove dimensions with very limited space for lighting integration can be addressed by XOOCOVE with a diameter of only 20 mm. Clips can be used as an alternative mounting option in small spaces or on vertical surfaces.
The cabling concept is tailored for real life installation situations, in which the installer needs to decide about feed-in positions and cabling strategies on site. The supply bus (24 V, max. 8 A/190 W) can be wiretapped at any position thanks to piercing connectors. For example, using the HYDRA HE 05 as light engine, up to 12.5 m of XOOCOVE can be powered by a single supply bus. When using a Y-Junction the range of a single driver can be doubled when placed in the middle.
XOOCOVE is equipped with the reliable and robust HYDRA tape family as light source, providing excellent lifetime (depending on choice L80/B10 > 102.000 h or L80/B10 > 60.000 h) and long term CCT stability (Wxxx/339). Choose between two light engines for either high CRI or outstanding efficiency.
XOOCOVE is available in six standard lengths from 260 mm to 2,510 mm, four lumen packages from 440 lm/m up to 2,580 lm/m and either a diffuse cover or 60° lens for optimal light control in all common cove applications. The piercing connector and mounting accessories of choice are delivered with the fixture.
