True nano optics in four precise beam angles from 15° to 65° combined with an antiglare deliver high-quality and pleasant light. Additional variants include a wall washer and an opal diffusor. This innovative lighting system delivers up to 108 lm/W with a color rendering of CRI > 95. The optimum glare control through a black matte finish (black anti-glare) provides near invisible light and enables a UGR glare rating < 13. Several power levels up to 40 W/m (max 3280 lm/m) and color temperatures plus options in tunable white and RGBW (opal only) round off the options.
Mounting options include recessed, surface or pendant installations, with two form factors for each type to choose from. There are also three colors to choose from for both housings and two antiglares with further customisation possible. All these aspects can be freely combined.
Besides stand-alone luminaires with either internal or external drivers MARS also offers continuous lightlines with easy plug'n'play internal through-wiring. Lines with a single feed-in can be from 4 m to 15 m long, including a single piece diffusor for the opal optics.
Driver and controls can be integrated or external - potentially reducing their number and associated costs. Controls are optional and can be combined with sensors to add potential for higher energy savings due to the included connectivity.
The MARS family is very modular in its design philosophy. This allows for the luminaire to be both relamped as well as easily disassembled at the end of its life. The components are mostly mono materials (between 81% to 89% of the weight, depending on variant) and can be easily recycled.
The connectivity options for controls and sensors allow for smart use and thus a minimisation of the consumed power during its lifetime. The options for external rather than integrated drivers and controllers reduces the quantity of necessary devices if luminaires are grouped together. The resulting smaller luminaires also require less raw materials to manufacture.
