When redesigning the outdoor areas of Nordic Forum, the aim was to create an entrance space that remains clear, inviting and easy to navigate after dark. As one of Stockholm’s major shopping destinations, the main approach required lighting that supports orientation while reinforcing the architectural identity of the site.

XOOLIGHT IP67 was integrated into custom‑made wooden posts and the wooden front roof to provide calm, uniform orientation lighting along the entrance paths. Fitted with White Opal IP67 luminaires, the linear system delivers soft, homogeneous light that defines circulation areas without glare. The restrained linear form allows the luminaires to blend seamlessly into the architectural elements, ensuring visual continuity throughout the entrance zone.

The result is an entrance defined by clarity and calm orientation, where light guides movement intuitively and enhances the architectural experience without drawing attention to the luminaires themselves.

Røykenbadet is the largest public health facility in the area, covering 9,000 m² and combining swimming pools, fitness areas, climbing facilities, a cafeteria and various health services. The modern bathing and swimming hall features high windows and a ceiling finished with wooden paneling, creating an open and welcoming atmosphere. The architectural concept required a lighting solution that supports this spatial quality while meeting the demanding environmental conditions of a swimming facility.

XOOLIGHT IP67 was integrated directly into the ceiling structure to provide uniform general lighting throughout the hall. With a luminaire width of 42 mm, the linear system aligns precisely with the wooden ceiling beams, allowing the luminaires to blend seamlessly into the architecture. The opal IP67 encapsulation delivers completely homogeneous, point‑free light, ensuring visual comfort across the pool areas while meeting the environmental requirements of the swimming hall. The same linear lighting language continues into the cafeteria, where the light lines support orientation and help visually differentiate functional zones within the space.

The result is a calm and consistent lighting environment where general illumination enhances spatial clarity and architectural coherence, combining visual comfort, durability and precise integration.

La Trobe University initiated a comprehensive public lighting upgrade across its Melbourne Campus to improve safety, orientation and visual clarity for students, staff and visitors. Public spaces including residential areas, car parks and central campus locations were re‑designed to establish clear corridors of light that support wayfinding while reducing energy consumption through the use of efficient LED technology and sensor‑based control.
