An exceptional interior and lighting concept was implemented for the second competence center of the dermatological clinic Dermanence. Lush, expansive greenery creates a pleasant ambiance. Calming shades of green enhance the feeling of comfort.

In the waiting area, the ULTIMA was installed on the ceiling in an asymmetric arrangement, bathing the space in cozy light that spectacularly highlights the plants. The deliberate use of light to accentuate plants and interior elements creates a soothing and tranquil atmosphere. In the hallway areas, the ULTIMA was also installed asymmetrically. The lighting effect produces a dynamic yet harmonious interplay of light, creating an inviting atmosphere that emphasizes the clinic's exceptional style. The theme of the Amazon is echoed in the treatment rooms through stylish wallpaper featuring floral and animal motifs. The ULTIMA, a miniature LED light, provides uniform illumination of the exotic jungle world and its beautiful details.

The first Q36.5 Flagship Store opened in Zurich in December 2021, presenting a retail environment designed to fully immerse customers in the brand’s world of high‑performance cycling apparel and accessories. The store combines expert consultation with an experiential spatial concept that highlights both technology and craftsmanship.

To support this vision and ensure precise task lighting for the presentation of individual products, the lighting designers at Light On implemented a tailored concept using the ULTIMA. Its miniature profile and minimalist design integrate discreetly into the architecture, directing the light invisibly onto the merchandise. The combination of warm and cool white variants provides balanced illumination across different areas of the store, delivering razor‑sharp lighting effects with a high CRI to enhance material textures and color accuracy. For this project, short end caps were used for the first time, enabling even more seamless integration into the shopfitting elements.

The result is a refined and visually striking retail atmosphere that elevates the customer experience and showcases the product assortment with exceptional clarity and precision.

With its luminous light wall, the Marriott Hotel in Berlin presents a concentrated moment of architectural introspection in a highly dynamic environment - both inside and out.

The 30-metre high and 10-metre wide luminous light wall is vertically structured by an architectural grid in front of it. The wall itself consists of 72 individual panels made of expanded copper mesh that appear to glow from within thanks to LED lights mounted on the sides. Illuminated by grazing light, the panels suggest spatial depth across the entire wall. On closer inspection, the scene transforms into a diffuse image that defies precise interpretation. The visual impression varies depending on the position of the viewer in the room. Depending on the angle of view, different image compositions emerge that are reminiscent of moving cloudscapes. A lighting control system supports the installation with a variety of individual lighting scenarios.

This project shines with a lighting-technically sophisticated backlighting. The ULTIMA luminaire with narrow beam characteristics served as the light source. A total of 152 luminaires in special lengths were installed in the light wall. Since the entire installation depends heavily on the viewing angle, the luminaires had to be mounted in such a way as to create an absolutely uniform surface across the wall. The lighting design comes from the pen of Licht Kunst Licht and convinces with ULTIMA through a clear and homogeneous lighting atmosphere without disturbing effects.

In this private residence in Davos, a subtle and precisely coordinated lighting concept was created to emphasize the warm materials and clear architectural lines of the interior. Various areas of the home - from the staircase to the roof gable - were illuminated with discreet, functional, and atmospheric lighting.

The miniature dimensions of the ULTIMA made it possible to install the luminaire in slots as narrow as 18 mm wide and 15 mm deep, using simple clip‑mounted installation without thermal concerns. Its excellent glare control allowed the ULTIMA to be integrated seamlessly into railings and staircases, providing comfortable and precise illumination. In the roof gable, the Batwing optic delivers homogeneous yet dynamic lighting, while the warm color temperature of 2,700 K highlights the wood surfaces and white walls with outstanding brilliance. Thanks to the broad range of options within the ULTIMA, the entire lighting scheme could be realized using a single product platform.

The result is a cohesive lighting atmosphere that enhances the architecture, materials, and spatial character with refined elegance.
