In this community center in Neukirchen‑Vluyn, the goal was to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that supports the diverse activities taking place within the space. The lighting design focuses on comfort, clarity, and a friendly visual environment suitable for communal gatherings, events, and everyday use.

To illuminate the main area, the LYRA IP40 pendant luminaire was installed in varying suspension lengths, forming a cohesive lighting arrangement that complements the interior architecture. The luminaires provide soft, uniform illumination across the room while adding a refined visual accent through their elegant, linear form. Positioned thoughtfully above the central zones, LYRA IP40 ensures both functional brightness and a pleasant spatial ambience.

With its balanced light distribution and graceful presence, the LYRA IP40 creates a harmonious and inviting setting that enhances the experience of visitors and supports the community center’s multifunctional character.

Located at the westernmost point of Rotterdam’s Wilhelmina Pier, the World Port Center offers expansive views over the city and its harbour. As part of the building’s renovation, the entrance area was redesigned to create a contemporary, welcoming atmosphere that reflects the building’s prestige and dynamic surroundings.

For the new lighting concept, the LYRA IP40 was integrated vertically into the woven metal curtains above the barista bar. Its slim, modern profile blends seamlessly with the textile structure, enhancing the texture of the material while adding a striking visual highlight. Installed as a subtle yet expressive light element, LYRA IP40 creates a refined interplay of translucency, structure, and illumination that enriches the spatial experience.

The result is a sophisticated entrance area where architectural elements and light merge into a cohesive and memorable design statement.

Shade Street Food & Bar in Atlanta set out to create an interior atmosphere as bold and eclectic as its menu and concept. The space blends street‑art aesthetics with a relaxed dining environment that transitions seamlessly into an energetic nightlife setting with live music and a DJ.

To achieve this expressive visual identity, LYRA RGB was installed throughout the bar and dining areas. The slim, vertical and horizontal linear elements integrate directly into the graffiti‑covered walls and ceiling surfaces, creating vibrant color accents that define the character of the room. With dynamic RGB illumination, the luminaires support a wide range of moods - from subtle daytime color washes to high‑contrast, saturated scenes in the evening. Their precise placement enhances architectural lines, highlights textures, and strengthens the immersive “street” theme that the restaurant is known for.

The result is a visually captivating environment where light, material, and color work together to create a memorable guest experience from day to night.

The Martinus Library in Mainz reopened in November 2017 following an extensive renovation required to meet modern safety and fire protection standards. As part of the redesign, the reading areas and circulation spaces were equipped with a lighting concept that enhances both functionality and atmosphere within this historic institution.

LYRA was selected to illuminate the central reading zone, where the round version of the luminaire was installed on the intermediate level. With its elegant form and nearly 360° swiveling capability, LYRA provides precise, directional lighting for the reading tables. The version with a 10° linear optic ensures focused, comfortable light suitable for study and research, while the pendant LYRA with round opal optic delivers soft, general illumination across the space.

The staircase areas were also completely reimagined. LYRA was mounted vertically along the walls as a continuous light line across all floors, creating a clear visual guide through the building. With a warm 3,000 K color temperature, the installation provides uniform orientation lighting and highlights the architectural features of the stairwell with a refined, contemporary expression.

The result is a cohesive and inviting lighting atmosphere that strengthens the library’s identity and enhances the experience of visitors across all levels.
