For our daily, different visual tasks, we need technically good light that makes our lives pleasant without us consciously noticing it. This autumn, we are introducing the MARS ARCHITECTURAL extended luminaire system. The modular luminaires provide great light for well-being: at work, in public areas and at home.

It is a modular system of elegant, linear lighting solutions for general and task lighting that scores with minimalist design language, maximum lighting effect and a wide range of options. The timeless design fits perfectly in offices, but is also suitable for showrooms, schools, hotels, restaurants, museums, galleries and residential and public buildings.

MARS ARCHITECTURAL

• The architectural luminaire line includes 3 mounting options: recessed, surface-mounted or pendant installation, each with multiple form factors and integrated or external drivers and control gear.
• The innovative luminaire system delivers up to 108 lm/W with a color rendering of up to 95.
• True nano-lens optics combined with quality LEDs provide accurate light control with four different light distributions from 15° to 65°. An additional variant with opal diffuser completes the options.
• Optimal glare control through a black surface enables a glare rating of UGR < 13 and provides high quality and pleasant light. Additional white and silver versions are also available.
• MARS ARCHITECTURAL can be freely configured via the configurator determining the following aspects: Mounting type, form factor, optics, light source, color temperature, housing color, glare control color, power supply, control unit and length.

Meeting rooms with MARS ARCHITECTURAL -Recessed installation
For the exchange of ideas, the creation of new concepts and the transformation of challenges into opportunities, the meeting rooms of Wellings Parkhotel offer a modern environment. The lighting concept with the MARS ARCHITECTURAL recessed solution with 65° nano optics provides glare-free light and disappears almost invisibly into the suspended ceiling. Coves with the XOOCOVE luminaire provide further indirect light.

Schoolrooms with MARS ARCHITECTURAL -Surface-mounted installation
With the linear MARS ARCHITECTURAL luminaire, seven classrooms shine in new light. The three light lines in the ceiling provide bright and uniform illumination of both horizontal and vertical surfaces - the basis for optimal visual and learning conditions. The influence of light on people is undisputed, and so the quality of lighting is increasingly coming to the fore. The right light in schools contributes to many points that used to receive less attention in lighting design: Learning ability, concentration and health. The students at the Theodor Fliedner Gymnasium learn under better conditions: the light does not flicker, the illuminance on the desks is optimally adjusted and the illumination is absolutely uniform thanks to the opal cover. A pleasant atmosphere for learning.

The installed luminaires are the MARS ARCHITECTURAL Type 62 with opal diffuser. With a lumen output of 2,200 lumens per meter and a light color of 4,000 Kelvin, this is ideally suited for classroom lighting. A suitable solution for integration into the architecture of the ceiling was developed together with the customer. Thus, the luminaires were manufactured in special lengths and supplied with special mounting brackets. The ready-installed luminaires are flush with the beams and run filigree between the white ceiling tiles, creating the impression of a modern grid. The white ceiling tiles additionally reflect the light and the room appears brighter. This interplay of architecture and lighting design enhances the classrooms and creates an inviting and open atmosphere.

Showrooms with MARS ARCHITECTURAL -Pendant installation
Land Rover is the world's leading manufacturer of off-road and four-wheel drive vehicles, and Jaguar is one of the world's leading luxury sports saloon and sports car brands. LED Linear™ - along with sister companies LTS and Fagerhult - is the official global showroom lighting supplier for Jaguar Land Rover. The light-filled showroom in Watford, with its expansive spaces, requires very long linear luminaires that can be easily integrated visually and individually.

For the uniform lighting concept, the primary choice was the MARS family - an elegant, linear and versatile solution for general lighting that scores with minimalist design language and maximum lighting and design impact. Thanks to diverse mounting options, it is suitable as a recessed, ceiling or pendant luminaire. The innovative luminaire system with nano-optics delivers up to 108 lm/W with color rendering of an Ra value of up to 95. Optimal glare reduction thanks to a black surface (Black Glare Reduction) enables a glare rating of UGR < 13 and provides high-quality and pleasant light.

A suspended special solution was developed especially for Jaguar Land Rover, which is used in the project together with other standard variants of the MARS family. In addition to products from the MARS family, flexible LED tape was also used in the project.
