Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

when it comes to sophisticated lighting design, all you need is an all-rounder for more planning freedom. Today we present you the linear lighting instrument for all cases: XOOLINE™ IP40, the all-round talent for indoor use - setting the tone in illumination!

The elegant surface-mounted luminaire XOOLINE™ convinces with modularity thanks to ten high-quality optics: There is a choice of three lenses from 10° to 60° as well as clear, diffuse or opal covers in different shapes for soft light patterns and direct as well as indirect lighting. With an IP40 protection rating, the luminaire is suitable for a wide range of indoor applications, such as coves, counters, walls, corridors, supermarkets, restaurants, indoor facades and architectural details.

Cove lighting
In the Lower Saxony federal state parliament in Germany, the plenary hall wing was modernised in the existing building and the traditional building was carefully brought into line with contemporary functionality. Today's plenary hall is transparent, modern and flooded with light. The aspiration to be an open house for citizens is now also reflected in the architecture.

The lighting designers from Licht Kunst Licht combined aesthetic aspects and functional requirements. The slightly oval ceiling dome is illuminated indirectly. A frame of indirect light sets the scene for the roof space in the dark and gently illuminates the glass surface. The indirect linear cove lighting in the different ceilings was realised with XOOLINE™ HD15 in 4,000 K, which ensures the general lighting and sets accents for the different materials such as wood, concrete and metal.
 
Indirect church lighting
The Santa Maria Maggiore church building is a basilica in Bergamo, Italy, whose construction was started around 1137. The impressive church forms the centre of the city of Bergamo and is an attraction for many tourists because the interior of the church is completely covered with colourfully painted carvings. Furthermore, it is known for its magnificent ceiling painting and the sculptural figures that also blend into the ceiling painting.

To highlight this beauty even more, indirect linear LED lighting solutions were used. The small XOOLINE™ luminaire blends invisibly into the architecture and creates homogeneous, generous illumination of the surfaces. With a color rendering of Ra 90, the colors are also optimally reproduced. Another decisive point in this application: the use of LED technology means that there is no UV radiation that could damage the paint.
 
Direct view retail lighting 
"The Storey" in the traditional Oberpollinger Munich store captivates with its urban atmosphere. The rough, partly open ceiling design is characteristic. A functional grid runs across the entire sales area and creates an industrial look. The linear lighting was realized with lines of different lengths of XOOLINE™ HYDRA White HD10 and XOOLINE™ HYDRA White HD25 luminaires with opal covers. Thanks to the smart cable routing of the luminaires, there are no light gaps or interruptions.
 

Indirect retail lighting
The “Kaufhaus des Westens“ (KADEWE) is a department store in Berlin with an upscale assortment and luxury goods which opened in 1907. Today, with 60,000 square meters of retail space, KADEWE is the largest department store in continental Europe.

A space-defining element in the iconically designed "Women's Designer Fashion" area on the second floor is the graphic cove ceiling. Parallel coves, interrupted by narrow beams, run through the space, creating soft ambient lighting in warm white light at 3,000 Kelvin. A total of 1.8 km of the XOOLINE™ HD10 luminaires were installed in the coves.
 
XOOLINE™ IP67 for entrance areas / foyers  
The XOOLINE™ with IP67 protection is ideal for outdoor use. In the entrance area of the furniture store HOME LAB', dynamic RGB lighting was realized with XOOLINE™ IP67.The complete cube of the entrance area with a height of 6 m and a width of 4 m is illuminated in color, creating a beacon that shoppers are drawn to.
