Lightsymposium Wismar from 12. to 14. October
From October 12th to 14th 2016 the 5. International Light Symposium on the Light and Health Complex will take place at the Wismar University of Applied Sciences. The aim of the conference is to present the current state of knowledge on the effects of light and lighting on human health and well-being. LED Linear supports the event as a diamond sponsor and is represented with a booth. Here the innovative linear lighting solutions are presented to the specialist audience.
The symposium offers scientists, students, representatives from industry and industry associations, as well as actors from all areas of lighting planning and application the opportunity to get information about the current state of research. It wants to provide a platform for information and exchange between science, industry and lighting designers.
The interdisciplinary and international conference is conducted in English and is divided into three themes: Lighting Design Practice, Lighting Research and Related Aspects, Medical Science and Lighting. As key note speakers the organizers have won Mark Major, from the prestigious lighting design office Speirs + Major, and Dr. Alexander Wunsch, specialist in light medicine and photobiology.
