Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

for our daily, diverse visual tasks, we need technically high quality light that makes our lives pleasant without us consciously noticing it. The modular luminaires of the MARS NANO family provide great light to make us feel good: at home, at work and also in public areas.

MARS NANO is an elegant, linear lighting solution for general lighting that scores with minimalist design language and maximum light and design impact. Both smaller lighting installations and large lighting projects can be realised thanks to the diverse mounting options as recessed, ceiling or pendant luminaires. We have compiled some examples for you in this newsletter.
 
The advantages of the MARS family at a glance:

• The innovative luminaire system delivers up to 108 lm/W with color rendering of 95 (in the range between 2,700 K and 4,000 K).
• Nano lens optics ensure accurate light control without direct view of the LEDs.
• Optimal glare control with a black matt finish enables a UGR of less than 13.
• The possible installation types of the MARS family include recessed, surface-mounted and pendant.
• The luminaire housings are available in silver, white and black in any combination with the same glare control colors.
• The end caps of the surface-mounted and pendant versions are magnetically attached and therefore provide a clean and aesthetic finish.
• The selectable light colors are white, tunable white and RGBW (MARS OPAL only), the color temperatures range from 2,200 K to 5,000 K.

Office lighting with MARS NANO (recessed solution)
The Visage O3 Plus office in Noida, India, is designed as a contemporary workspace that promotes employee engagement, collaboration and efficiency. The interiors are divided according to the five departments of the office structure and equipped with LED Linear™ luminaires such as the MARS NANO. An amphitheater is designed to facilitate open discussions and presentations. All furniture is bespoke and in keeping with the brand ethos.

Shop lighting with MARS NANO (pendant solution)
The Beauty Palace is one of the largest exhibition spaces for art jewellery in India. It is located in the city of Ambala in the state of Haryana. According to the lighting designer's intention, the lighting of this jewellery shop is divided into two areas: one is the general lighting of the jewellery showroom and the other is the lighting of the jewellery itself. The luminaires for the jewellery showroom are chosen to be bright and uniform with LEDs with low UGR and high CRI so that customers can see the actual color of the jewellery and to bring out the sparkle thanks to a multitude of light sources. MARS NANO with 65° optics with UGR <13 was used to provide uniform general lighting. In addition, ceiling lights were added to illuminate all surfaces.

Meeting rooms with MARS NANO (recessed solution)
For the exchange of ideas, the creation of new concepts and the transformation of challenges into opportunities, the meeting rooms of Wellings Parkhotel offer a modern environment. The lighting concept with the MARS NANO recessed solution with 65° optics provides glare-free light and disappears almost invisibly into the suspended ceiling. Coves with the XOOCOVE luminaire provide further indirect light.

“Room of Silence” with MARS Wall Wash (recessed solution)
In the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, where things are often turbulent and heated, the "Room of Silence", which is available to members of parliament, visitors and staff, is intended to be a retreat for prayer or meditation and also for ecumenical devotions. The room is located in the basement of the state parliament building directly adjacent to the tunnel leading to the House of Representatives. It was artistically designed by the Esslingen-based spatial concept artist Bernhard Huber.

The lighting concept was realised with the MARS Wall Wash luminaire. The luminaires were integrated into the ceiling to illuminate the walls homogeneously over the entire surface. Luminaires from the XOOLINE™ family were chosen to backlight the glass artworks, creating an optimal lighting mood in harmony with the artworks.

MARS OPAL
The design of MARS OPAL fits just as perfectly in offices, but is also suitable for showrooms, schools, hotels, restaurants, museums, galleries, residential and public buildings. A wide range of options includes four lumen packages and color temperatures, as well as static and dynamic white and RGBW versions. Three different mounting options (pendant, recessed and surface-mounted) and the same housing shape as MARS NANO offer design continuity throughout the building. Magnetically attached end caps neatly round off the timeless design in three housing colors (black, white, silver).
