with today's newsletter we focus on outdoor solutions, especially for grazing applications. The KALYPSO luminaire convinces with targeted illumination, especially over large wall heights, sets accents for structured facades or walls, and is ideal for highlighting architectural details on buildings, windows and gables.

Atrium lighting
The lighting design of the IMOS AG façade focuses on the upper end of the building, giving the entire complex a floating character even as early as dusk. The KALYPSO outdoor luminaire was chosen for the special grazing effect, with a colour temperature of 3,000 Kelvin in combination with the 60° lens.
Animated façade lighting
The Mondeal Heights project in Ahmedabad, India, won the German Design Award Special 2021. More than 400 KALYPSO HD25 luminaires with 30° optics were used to create the illumination in the façade niches. The light colour is an extremely warm 2,000 Kelvin to remind of candle light. A custom length of 327 mm was used to perfectly fit the project.

Wall illumination or vertical lighting is a very important aspect of architectural lighting. It is only through the rapid development of linear LED luminaires that we are now able to claim that slim linear LED luminaires work exceptionally well in this critical and complex application.
