Dear customers and business partners, please be aware of Chinese product imitations in the market!

Unfortunately it is generally difficult for non-experts to recognize the differences between these and our own original product at first glance. There are some details however where differences can be easily identified, so please look out for the following characteristics:

• The product feels conspicuously soft. The encapsulation material is of low quality, resulting in discolouring even after short periods of time. Accordingly the brightness suffers a drastic reduction.
• The cables do not fulfil IP67. You can easily recognize them from their transparent isolation.
• The cables are set only loosely in the encapsulation. Humidity thus easily gets into the fixture and causes corrosion and ultimately failure after only a short time.
• The LEDs are placed in a serial configuration with resistors on the circuit board. This results in higher electrical losses due to increased heat generation. For our own products we are using current sources for an increased efficiency.
• Furthermore the electrical components are hand soldered onto the circuit boards. This usually causes a higher failure rate.
• We guarantee a life span of our products of up to 50,000 hours of operation. The Chinese fakes will fall well below that.
