HYDRA ECO: Introducing the new entry level flexible light engine

Within March 2023, our new flexible light engine HYDRA Economy (ECO) has been launched. The HYDRA ECO surpasses the former available families LUMINARIS ECO and LINUS HD in color rendering capabilities (consistent > 90) and the increased amount of available color temperatures (starting with 2,200 K). HYDRA ECO will replace those earlier mentioned offerings.

The advantages of HYDRA ECO at a glance:

• Improved efficacy of up to 113 lm/W
• Optimized CRI up to 92, R9 up to 60
• Huge range of color temperatures, starting at 2,200 K up to 5,000 K
• Very good lifetime of L80/B10 > 60.000 h
• Extremely short step size of 50 mm increases product flexibility
• High quality 2835 LEDs with LED pitch of only 8.33 mm - ideal for dot-free lighting solutions
• HYDRA ECO is operated with 24 V constant voltage and are equipped with a high-quality double-sided adhesive tape on the back
• Very stable light output through the whole reel size, no visible change even after 10 m

Our HYDRA ECO light engine establishes a new entry standard in LED tape through very good efficacy values and at the same time optimized color rendering of up to 92, based on improved versions of our successful technologies such as OneBinOnly, Tj Away^® and Reel-2-Reel production. Even in the entry level segment, there is no compromise in the highly appreciated process- and production quality.
