The winners of the competition THE GERMAN LIGHTING DESIGN AWARD 2024 were announced on 6 June 2024 at the Dornier Museum in Friedrichshafen.
We had the great pleasure of accompanying the Blieske Architects team through the evening at our VIP table.
Blieske Architects scored highly in its first participation in the renowned annual competition. The office was nominated for the lighting solutions in the Federal Archives Berlin-Lichterfelde (category public areas/interior) and the Documentation Centre “Flucht, Vertreibung, Versöhnung” (category museum) in Berlin. Two other projects even made it onto the list of winners. For example, the subtle lighting concept for the tower ascent of St Mary's Church in Wittstock impressed in the cultural buildings category.
The team's outstanding work and commitment to excellent lighting design are truly inspiring, and we are proud to count them among our partners. Congratulations to Blieske Architects. We look forward to many more projects and successes together.
A big thank you also to the organizers of the German Lighting Design Award for this wonderful evening and for recognizing exceptional talent in our industry.
