A converted East India Company spice warehouse dating back to the 18th century, the Pepper Store is a five-story workspace situated in the city of London. A combination of Grade II listed and 1980s office buildings the design concept aimed to highlight the buildings illustrious heritage within a truly modern workplace.
The reception areas, created by the luxury design house March and White, typifies this concept. Large windows, exposed brick, wooden floors and original concrete soffit combine for a contemporary, industrial expression. XOOTUBE™, with its homogeneous 360 distribution, was customised in a slightly smaller length to seamlessly fit within the soffit, illuminating both the channels in the ceiling and providing the ambient light for the main floor space. Installed in a zig-zag configuration, they add a subtle, yet striking element to the ceiling.
