Hand in hand with product design

Product development goes hand in hand with product design and is followed by further technical elaboration. In addition to the detailed production of 3D models, the corresponding drawings for the production of the luminaires are created in our in-house production departments. We provide our customers and partners with digital and physical models for better visualization.

Through close cooperation with other departments, every production and process step is accompanied from the idea to the series release of the luminaire and individually adapted to the characteristics of the respective products. Tailor-made solutions are also developed for customer requests of all kinds, which are implemented with dedication and care and with a view to our quality and sustainability standards.

Physical reliability is guaranteed with us.

Our laboratory team consists of experienced engineers who thoroughly test and measure the quality of light. We measure the photometric and colorimetric properties of circuit boards, lamps or luminaires using an integrating sphere. Angle-dependent measurements are carried out with our Robogoniometer. This enables us to make precise statements about angle-dependent luminaire properties and create light distribution curves. Take advantage of our range of services for accredited photometric measurements, thermographic images and environmental simulations with climate tests and temperature shock.

State of the art reel-to-reel production lines

Reel-to-reel is the key to your own machine-manufactured, high-quality LED line engine. A maximum degree of automation that makes it possible to determine components, develop dimensions and requirements yourself and achieve maximum flexibility and quality.

With this production technology, LED module light engines with a length of up to 50 metres can be produced on flexible PCBs. In a one-stop process, all work is carried out in a single production step. This guarantees enormous reliability and full traceability of the produced batches. In a subsequent test & lamination area, 100% of the tapes are tested for function and appearance and optionally provided with adhesive tape before they leave our premises in order to guarantee and check the highest possible quality.

Metal processing and manufacture of indoor luminaires

The main focus of metal processing is the preparation of all luminaire profiles for subsequent further processing in the indoor or outdoor luminaire sector. The operation of computer-controlled milling/sawing and drilling machines requires a great deal of manual skill and technical understanding.

In the indoor luminaire assembly department, dexterity and sure instinct are required. This is where soldering takes place and the luminaires are lovingly assembled by hand with all components according to the individual production orders. The experienced assembly team works with the highest degree of precision and professionalism for all our standard luminaires as well as custom-made products.

Manufacture outdoor luminaires and potting technology

A seamless transition takes place from the assembly of the outdoor luminaires to the potting. Preparation for the potting machine requires dexterity as well as the utmost care.

The multi-stage full potting process prevents the formation of air bubbles, inclusions and cracks. The polyurethane full potting is required in order to be able to operate linear LED lighting elements safely and trouble-free in damp rooms, in outdoor areas and areas with particular chemical stress. This means that our outdoor luminaires are optimally protected against water, salt, chlorine and other factors. In this way, we can cast LED profiles up to a length of 10 metres. Depending on the thickness and colour of the full encapsulation (transparent or opal), different light transmittance is achieved.

Effective and efficient packaging and shipping are of great importance to any company. For LED Linear, it represents one of the success factors in ex-works deliveries. Because this is where the goods are picked for the individual customers, checked one last time for functionality and professionally packed. A sustainable packaging concept ensures that less outer packaging is used and that the luminaires arrive intact and well-labelled at the customer's premises or directly at the construction site.

Customer acquisition, support for our regular customers and project business are the core tasks of our sales, application management and customer service teams. Our colleagues support architects, lighting designers, engineering offices, construction departments of public authorities or institutions, wholesalers, installers and building owners. They actively supervise projects from the design phase through tendering and sampling to project planning.
